Rigorous daybreak training schedule....

What a fantastic summers day ! Thanks to Jon for encouraging me to an early surf down at Kennack this morning. It was perfect, blinding sunlight across smooth water between small but rideable sets, with a fresh offshore breeze tearing off wave tops, showering them backwards and forming bright rainbows with each deluge of spray...
Anyway, suffice to say it was a pretty gruelling workout, but no pain no gain, right ?
A couple of hours later, after a coffee at Turbos beach caf, it was off into Helston with my collection ticket for a parcel full of goodies for the bike ! Yeay ! A massive thanks to Helen for sorting it and packing it and sending it and for her ongoing support. There's all sorts in there, rack, speedo, saddle bags, things that go on the handle bars to make them longer (All the mountain bikers that look like they know what they're doing have them), you know the kind of thing ? Even a temperature gauge to let me know when it's hot ! Oh and new tyres too, ones that'll never need repairing, at least that's what it says on the tin ? I'll put some of it together and take some photos.
The route is actually very nearly sorted. It really is incredible, I now have a line of people offering a bed for the night and a meal, spanning the length of France ! Thank you each and every one of you for forming the backbone of this massive cycle ride raising many hundreds of pounds for the British heart foundation .... A remarkable human chain from home to home and back home ! Thanks.
So, keep watching...
Exciting news coming about the free gifts too !
