Your heart beats around 100,000 times a day, that's 35 million times a year and a staggering 2.5 billion times in a lifetime, and by then it will have pumped the equivalent of about one million barrels of blood with enough pressure to squirt it about thirty feet ! So, look after it best you can and please donate to the British heart foundation to aid their pioneering and on going work with the understanding and prevention of heart disease.
Monday now, and offers of support the length of France are still dropping into my inbox, hopefully by this time next week I'll formulate some kind of a route, which has kind of evolved from a straight line from south coast to north coast into a far more organic and snake like path winding from home to home across the whole country !
